Cuba Claims Oldest Man
Thursday, February 10, 2005 By: Juan Paxety
And it's not fidel
Here's an interesting tidbit in which Cuba is claiming the world's oldest man. Benito Martinez Agagan claims he was born in Haiti in 1880, which by my count would make him 124 or 125, but Cuba lists him at 119.
Anyway, the piece goes on to point out that life expectancy in Cuba is 77-years. Too bad fidel has made it to 78.
Update - Joe's take on it is here.
