As was common in 1968, the Three Heads sang covers of the popular songs of the day - and they were all songs to dance to. This was before the 10-minute guitar solo and even longer drum solo became popular. In 1968, people still danced - they didn't sit around consuming unmentionables. The first link below illustrates this.

The other links are to songs recorded in a demo session cut in Athens, Georgia on May 11, 1968. They were recorded in two-track mono - the instruments on one track and the vocals on the second.
