Paranoid fidel? Please allow me to be paranoid for a few minutes. I was driving to work this morning when the left front wheel came off my truck - at about 60-mph. Luckily I got to the side of the road without other incident and no one was hurt. Nothing was broken or defective on the wheel or the rotor - it came off because all of the lug nuts had been removed! According to my mechanic, the 4WD hub must have held the wheel in place for the short distance I traveled. I know the nuts were there last night, because I made one of my regular checks of lights, tire pressure, etc. Did one of fidel's agents try to get me? |
